Ex-Perth comedian Anthony Menchetti certainly has an interesting ‘coming out’ story, much of which can be assumed from the title of his cabaret show about that time in his life: Gay Conversion School Dropout.
When Menchetti came out to his highly religious family as a youngster, his mother immediately approached the church looking for guidance.
