Perth will get the chance to see the works of artists such as Andy Warhol, Picasso, Jasper Johns and Jackson Pollock as part of the Picasso To Warhol: Twelve Modern Masters exhibit. The exhibit is the first of six exhibitions born from the partnership between the Art Gallery Of Western Australia and The Museum Of Modern Art in New York. Starting in 2012, the exhibitions will take place over three years. The exhibition will open on Saturday, June 16, 2012, so there’s plenty of time to read up on the great artists and sort out your Matisse from your Miro.
